other white ppl, when poc said “callout racism when you see it”, they meant talk about it in our own community. were supposed to be addressing white supremacy and racism in ourselves and other white ppl, do not assume any of us will know more about racism than a poc or can call a poc racist with any validity. if a poc is doing something shitty, their own community can take care of it and call it out with more nuance than any of us white ppl can
I respect fashion as an art form, but despise it as a consumer culture. That hypebeast mentality of “as long as it costs a lot, it’s fashionable” makes people like shit they would think is dumb as hell if there was no social value to liking it.
